This is the main reason why not only single individuals attend college schooling, but also single parents (even married ones) opt to continue their college education, so that the benefits of obtaining a degree will be a fulfillment, too. Since single parents have already a family to attend to, their time for socializing is being substituted for the parent's time to attend to other affairs, such as taking care of the children, or cleaning up the house, ding household chores, or by attending work after or before school. However, a single parent's social life is increased just by interacting with people at work and in school, which helps increase their social skills and establish social ties with different people in the same degree and manner with that of single college students. Financial needs and capabilities are far more restricted for single parent students; the constant need for money is due to the fact that parents always need financial aid for the survival and sustenance of his/her family.
